When renovating a space, where do you truly begin?
The answer is simple but essential: with the vision of those who will live there.
Listening to the client’s wishes means crafting bespoke solutions that reflect their personality, sensitivities, and real needs.
The key lies in translating these often unspoken needs into tangible results, and that is exactly what we did with this project.
Today’s story is about a fresh start.

A young couple decided to create their first home by renovating a bright attic, featuring open spaces linked by a long central corridor.
From the very beginning, it was clear that the flooring would play a crucial role: both a functional choice and the foundation of the house’s aesthetic and sensory identity.
The goal was to create warm, inviting, lived-in spaces where light could interact with the materials. To achieve this, the choice fell on Cleo, a dark, antiqued oak floor.
The Expressive Power of Lived-in Wood
Cleo is a solution that enhances natural light while adding character and depth.
Its rich color, with mahogany undertones, creates a striking contrast with the brightness of the attic, delivering a captivating visual effect full of warmth.
The apartment is organized around a long corridor that links the entrance to the living area. This visual axis has been emphasized through the use of large-format planks, which restore rhythm, continuity, and harmony throughout the space.
Functionality And Everyday Comfort
The living area is warmed by a wood stove and an underfloor heating system.
Cleo is perfectly suited for this kind of setup thanks to its glue-down installation, which improves thermal transmittance and ensures even heat distribution. It’s an efficient and sustainable solution that combines aesthetics with technology.

Natural Finish, Easy Maintenance
To keep its beauty over time, Cleo has been treated with a raw-effect varnish that preserves the wood’s natural texture and silky feel.
Daily maintenance is easy and safe thanks to our line of pH-neutral products, developed in partnership with a specialist. These solutions are designed for deep cleaning without compromising the surface’s natural elegance.
A House That Starts With the Floor
In this attic, the floor defined the space even before the furniture did: it was the first step toward a new everyday life filled with balance, warmth, and authenticity.
